Amira-Avizo eLearning datasets: Image Segmentation
This repository contains all the practice datasets within the Image Segmentation eLearning lessons.
Download the file to access the datasets depicted in the Amira-Avizo eLearning course and necessary for the practice exercises. The datasets can be opened in both Amira and Avizo software.
The eLearning lessons are available through the Thermo Fisher Scientific NanoPort Learning Portal. To learn more about enrollment, please click on Contact us. You will be directed to a contact form where you can request additional information or schedule a demo.
This repository contains 5 folders, one for each lesson.
01_IntroSeg+ contains the file “human_molar.am”. This microCT dataset is courtesy of Dr. Timothy Ryan at Penn State University.
02_VisualizingSegmentations contains the file “Cantor-FIB-SEM.am”. This dataset is courtesy of Daniele Duranti at Roma Tre University.
03_MathematicalMorphology contains the file “Core.am”.
04_AdvancedSegTools contains the files “DBI_heart_grayscale.am”, “Sandstone.am”, and “TopHat.exercise.am”.
05_AI_Assisted_Seg contains the files “CryoTomo.am”, “DBI_heart_grayscale.am”, and “FuelCell.am”.
To access the files, unzip the downloaded folder to extract the datasets.
