Genotype analysis of Axiom BloodGenomiX Array data has been integrated seamlessly into the Automated Axiom Analysis software. BloodGenomiX Reporter Software transforms genotyping data output from the GeneTitan instrument into HEA, HNA, and HPA types after performing an additional level of quality control to identify samples with evidence of contamination. For each tested sample, the BloodGenomiX Reporter Software determines HEA, HNA, and HPA types by directly typing relevant DNA variants associated with antigen expression. This is done in accordance with the global standards established by ISBT. The embedded HLA software then employs imputation on the genotyping results to predict HLA Class I antigen types against a globally maintained database of known reference haplotypes.
The final output flat file from BloodGenomiX Reporter Software has been formatted with direct feedback from blood blanks to allow for easier integration into electronic records utilized by blood service organizations.
The ability to generate phenotype reports using the Automated Axiom Analysis software is acquired by purchasing the desired number of reports.
Reports generated from BloodGenomiX Reporter Software a complete text file with corresponding blood types, genotype/copy number calls, antigen/allele frequency, and HLA output along with collated QC metrics with each sample represented in a single row.
The integration of Automated Axiom Analysis and BloodGenomiX Reporter Software offers a comprehensive solution for streamlined microarray analysis, ensuring precision in antigen typing and HLA imputation. The user-friendly interface and adherence to global standards contribute to efficient and accurate genomics analysis in the blood transfusion research.
