TheraPure 2ʹ-Fluoro-Acetyl-C Phosphoramidite

2'-Fluoro-Ac-C CEP is a phosphoramidite containing 5' DMT and the nucleoside cytidine (C) with 2'-Fluoro protection, for use in oligonucleotide synthesis. Located in the ideal oligo position, the highly electronegative fluorine (2'-Fluoro) modification adopts a more thermodynamically stable A-form helix on hybridization to its target. Showing improved affinity and some nuclease resistance (compared to 2'-OH), the 2'-F modification has been proven useful in antisense, siRNA, and aptamer applications.
