The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Smartainer systems are durable outer support containers made of stainless steel and used in conjunction with single-use BioProcess Containers (BPCs) for storage and in-house liquid handling operations of large-volume, sterile process liquids.

The Smartainer system, a stainless-steel outer container, is designed to accommodate large-volume BPCs and has the following features and applications:

- Available in 100, 200, 500, 1,000, 1,500, and 2,000 L
- 304 stainless steel construction
- Available in non-jacketed or jacketed options for applications requiring heating and cooling
- Optional accessories include hoist and carts for mobility and BPC handling
- Movable by forklift, pallet jack, or optional carts
- Smooth surface for easy cleaning
- Standard and custom BPCs a are available for these large volume stainless steel containers
Applications:
- In-process applications involving handling or storage of sterile process liquids such as:
- Sterile media and buffer storage and transport within facility
- Feeding sterile media into bioreactors, and buffers into purification systems
- Receiving and storage of bioreactor harvest
