ABI2 Antibody (A302-499A) in WB
Detection of human ABI2 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-ABI2 antibody (Product # A302-499A) used for WB at 0.4 µg/mL (A) and 1 µg/mL (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. ABI2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-ABI2 antibody BL9105, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A) and 3 minutes (B).

ABI2 may act in regulation of cell growth and transformation by interacting with nonreceptor tyrosine kinases ABL1 and/or ABL2. ABI2 is a part of the WAVE complex that regulates lamellipodia formation. The WAVE complex regulates actin filament reorganization via its interaction with the Arp2/3 complex. It regulates ABL1/c-Abl-mediated phosphorylation of MENA.
