APBB3 Antibody (PA5-117787) in WB
Western Blot using APBB3 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-117787) at 1:500 dilution. Lane A: HeLa Whole Cell Lysate, Lane B: A431 Whole Cell Lysate, Lane C: 293T Whole Cell Lysate. Lysates/proteins at 30 μg per lane. Secondary antibody: Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 53 kDa. Observed band size: 53 kDa. (We are unsure of the identity of these extra bands).

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the APBB protein family. It is found in the cytoplasm and binds to the intracellular domain of the Alzheimer's disease beta-amyloid precursor protein (APP) as well as to other APP-like proteins. It is thought that the protein encoded by this gene may modulate the internalization of APP. Multiple transcript variants encoding several different isoforms have been found for this gene.
