Annexin A1 Antibody (MA5-34968) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorecent analysis of Annexin A1 in A549 cells using Annexin A1 Monoclonal Antibody (CL0199) (Product # MA5-34968). Staining shows specific staining in the nucleus, cytosol and the plasma membrane in green. Microtubule- and nuclear probes are visualized in red and blue, respectively (where available).

Annexin I belongs to a family of Ca (2+) -dependent phospholipid binding proteins that are preferentially located on the cytosolic face of the plasma membrane. Annexin I has a molecular mass of 40 kDa, with phospholipase A2 inhibitory activity. Since phospholipase A2 is required for the biosynthesis of the potent mediators of inflammation, prostaglandins and leukotrienes, annexin I may have potential anti-inflammatory activity.
