Detection of human BACH2 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (15 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, and Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-BACH2 antibody (Product # A305-502A) (lot A305-502A-1) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

BTB and CNC homolog 2 (BACH2) is a transcriptional regulator that acts as repressor or activator. BACH2 binds to Maf recognition elements (MARE). It induces apoptosis in response to oxidative stress through repression of the antiapoptotic factor HMOX1.
