BORG4 Antibody (A302-379A) in IP
Detection of human BORG4 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-BORG4 antibody (Product # A302-379A) used for IP at 10 µg/mg lysate. BORG4 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-BORG4 antibody A302-380A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated BORG4, A302-380A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

The product of this gene is a member of the CDC42-binding protein family. Members of this family interact with Rho family GTPases and regulate the organization of the actin cytoskeleton. This protein has been shown to bind both CDC42 and TC10 GTPases in a GTP-dependent manner. When overexpressed in fibroblasts, this protein was able to induce pseudopodia formation, which suggested a role in inducing actin filament assembly and cell shape control.
