Immunocytochemistry of Bub3 antibody. Tissue: Jurkat cells. Fixation: formalin fixed paraffin embedded. Antigen retrieval: not required. Primary antibody: Bub3 antibody at 10 µg/mL for 1 hr at RT. Secondary antibody: Peroxidase rabbit secondary antibody at 1:10,000 for 45 min at RT. Localization: Bub3 is nuclear and occasionally cytoplasmic. Staining: Bub3 as precipitated brown signal with hematoxylin counterstain.

Target Information
This gene encodes a protein involved in spindle checkpoint function. The encoded protein contains four WD repeat domains and has sequence similarity with the yeast BUB3 protein. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
