For reconstitution, add sterile, distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of 1 mg/mL. Gently shake to solubilize the protein completely. Do not vortex. Reconstituted products should be stored at -80 °.
Barecetamab, also known as ISU-104, is a fully human anti-ErbB3 monoclonal antibody. The ERBB3 gene, located at 12q13 on chromosome 12, encodes a transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor that is part of the ERBB receptor family. The receptor produced by ERBB3 has a molecular weight of approximately 180 kDa and features a ligand-binding extracellular domain (ECD) with four subdomains, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular domain. Unlike other ERBB family receptors, ERBB3 lacks intrinsic kinase activity, but it can still activate downstream signaling pathways by forming heterodimers with other ErbB receptors such as EGFR and HER2. This activation is pivotal in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation and differentiation. The gene is of particular interest in oncology, as aberrant expression and mutations have been implicated in cancer pathogenesis and treatment resistance.
