CABC1 Antibody (PA5-106518) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of CABC1 in rat kidney tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with CABC1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106518) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total ADCK3.
Target Information
ADCK3 serine/threonine kinase is a mitochondrial protein similar to yeast ABC1 that is a member of the ADCK family. CABC1 encodes a mitochondrial protein similar to yeast ABC1, which functions in an electron-transferring membrane protein complex in the respiratory chain. It is not related to the family of ABC transporter proteins. Expression of this gene is induced by the tumor suppressor p53 and in response to DNA damage, and inhibiting its expression partially suppresses p53-induced apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found.
