          Product Specific Information

Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Galago, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Bat, Bovine, Rabbit, Horse, Pig, Opossum, Guinea pig (100%); Zebra finch, Platypus, Lizard (93%); Xenopus, Stickleback, Pufferfish, Zebrafish (80%).

For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

          Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a type I membrane receptor for group B coxsackieviruses and subgroup C adenoviruses. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 15, 18, and 21.
