CC2D1A Antibody (MA573226) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of CC2D1A in HeLa cells. Permeabilized with Trinton X-100 at room temp for 20 min. Samples were incubated with CC2D1A Recombinant Monoclonal (Product # MA573226 using a dilution at 1:100, for 90 min at 37°C. Followed by conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (green) at 37°C for 90 min, DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei. PBS instead of the primary antibody was used as the blank control.

This gene encodes a transcriptional repressor that binds to a conserved 14-bp 5'-repressor element and regulates expression of the 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) receptor 1A gene in neuronal cells. The DNA binding and transcriptional repressor activities of the protein are inhibited by calcium. A mutation in this gene results in nonsyndromic mental retardation-3.
