Flow cytometric analysis of Human CD170 (Siglec F) expression on human whole blood granulocytes. Cells were stained with CD170 (Siglec F) Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (110), FITC (Product # MA5-40973). The fluorescence histograms were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of viable granulocytes.

SIGLEC-F is a sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin predominantly expressed on eosinophils in mice, where it serves as a functional paralog of human SIGLEC-8. It acts as an inhibitory receptor with ITIM motifs that recognize sialylated glycans and can induce eosinophil apoptosis, thereby helping regulate allergic inflammation and immune homeostasis.
