Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.

CGLD27 is a plant gene annotated from chloroplast and photosynthetic complex studies and is thought to encode a small protein associated with thylakoid membrane function and light driven electron transport. While detailed biochemical characterization is limited, evidence suggests roles in assembly or stability of photosystem components and maintenance of efficient photochemistry under changing light and stress conditions. Expression patterns link CGLD27 to chloroplast development and acclimation, and loss or altered function may impact photosynthetic efficiency, redox balance, and growth.
