CHD2 Antibody (PA5-96471) in WB

Western blot analysis of CHD2 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with CHD2 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-96471) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

The CHD family of proteins is characterized by the presence of chromo domains and SNF2-related helicase/ATPase domains. CHD genes alter gene expression possibly by modification of chromatin structure thus altering access of the transcriptional apparatus to its chromosomal DNA template. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
