CORIN Antibody (MA5-23899) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of CORIN in immersion fixed HK2 human kidney proximal tubule cell line. Samples were incubated in CORIN monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-23899) using a dilution of 25 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to plasma membrane.

CORIN is a member of the type II transmembrane serine protease class of the trypsin superfamily. Members of this family are composed of multiple structurally distinct domains. CORIN converts pro-atrial natriuretic peptide to biologically active atrial natriuretic peptide, a cardiac hormone that regulates blood volume and pressure. This protein may also function as a pro-brain-type natriuretic peptide convertase.
