CPA4 Antibody (PA5-109579) in WB
Western blot analysis of CPA4 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with CPA4 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-109579) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 5s.

Carboxypeptidase A4 is a member of the carboxypeptidase A/B subfamily. Carboxypeptidases are zinc-containing exopeptidases that catalyze the release of carboxy-terminal amino acids, and are synthesized as zymogens that are activated by proteolytic cleavage. This protein could be involved in the histone hyperacetylation pathway. It is imprinted and may be a strong candidate protein for prostate cancer aggressiveness.
