CXCL13 Antibody (500-P141-1MG) in ELISA
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human BCA-1 (CXCL13) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/mL of CXCL13 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # 500-P141-1MG) is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech CXCL13 Polyclonal Antibody, Biotin (Product # 500-P141BT-500UG) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human BCA-1 (CXCL13).

Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human BCA-1 (CXCL13). Anti-Human BCA-1 (CXCL13)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human BCA-1 (CXCL13) matrix.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human BCA-1 (CXCL13) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. Western Blot: To detect Human BCA-1 (CXCL13) by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human BCA-1 (CXCL13) is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

CXCL13, also known as BCA-1 and Angie, is a small chemokine strongly expressed in the secondary lymphoid organs. It preferentially promotes the migration of B lymphocytes (both B-1 and B-2) to the follicles of the spleen, lymph nodes, and Peyer's patches. It is produced by macrophages, and in mouse the highest constitutive producers include large peritoneal macrophages, Kuppfer cells and lung macrophages (both CD11c+ and CD11c-). The cellular ligand for CXCL13 is CXCR5 also known as BLR-1 (Burkitt's Lymphoma Receptor 1). CXCR5 is expressed on B cells, Tfh cells and, to a lower degree, some memory T cell populations. CXCL13 plays an important role in the development of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CCL). CXCL13 is also a plasma biomarker for germinal center activity and generation of broadly neutralizing antibodies against HIV.
