PA1-9567 detects C3 alpha complement in mouse samples. This product may cross react with C3a from other mammalian species.

PA1-9567 has been successfully used in Immunoblot and ELISA procedures. PA1-9567 binds to a strong band at about 9kDa (C3a), two weaker bands with one at about 115 kDa (C3 alpha) and the other at 25-36 kDa (unknown or partial C3 cleavage).

PA1-9567 immunogen is mouse C3 complement protein aa 678-692, part of C3a.

Store at 4°C for 1-2 weeks, and -20°C for long-term storage.

Complement component C3 plays a central role in the activation of complement system. Its activation is required for both classical and alternative complement activation pathways. People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection.
