Contactin 5 Antibody (MA564471) in WB
Western blot analysis of Contactin 5 in brain tissue lysate (15 µg). Samples were incubated with Contactin 5 recombinant monoclonal (Product # MA564471) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG. Sample was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. CNTN5 band was visualized using ECL Western Blotting Substrate.

This protein is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored neuronal membrane protein that functions as a cell adhesion molecule. It may play a role in the formation of axon connections in the developing nervous system. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
