Lyophilized antibody can be stored at -20°C for up to 3 years. Re-constituted antibody can be stored at 4°C for several days to weeks. Once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
Specific Species Reactivity: Brassica napus
ERD10 encodes a dehydrin family (group II LEA) stress protein that accumulates in Arabidopsis thaliana in response to dehydration and low temperature; at the cellular level it is reported in the cytoplasm and associated with membranes. The encoded protein is highly enriched in charged and polar residues (notably Lys and Glu), lacks Trp and Cys, and is predicted to be largely intrinsically disordered, with hallmark dehydrin repeat motifs that include Lys-rich K-segments and an Ser-rich S-segment that can serve as a phosphorylation target under osmotic-stress signaling. Functionally, ERD10 acts as a protective, non-enzymatic stress effector: in vitro it can reduce stress-induced aggregation and loss of activity of diverse client proteins (molecular shield/chaperone-like activity) and can interact with acidic phospholipid vesicles, supporting roles in stabilizing proteins and membranes during cellular water deficit, salinity, and cold stress.
