Lyophilized antibody can be stored at -20°C for up to 3 years. Re-constituted antibody can be stored at 4°C for several days to weeks. Once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
For reconstitution add 50 µL of sterile water.

Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase Enhancer of zeste (E(z)) is a predominantly nuclear, chromatin-associated Polycomb-group protein that binds discrete sites on chromosomes, including Polycomb response elements, consistent with a direct role at regulated loci. It encodes a SET domain-containing histone methyltransferase; the conserved C-terminal SET catalytic module is required for enzymatic activity, and E(z) functions as the catalytic subunit of a Polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2)-like assembly in flies. In vivo, E(z) is essential for establishment and long-term maintenance of transcriptional repression programs during development, notably at homeotic gene clusters, by promoting repressive chromatin states. Biochemically, PRC2 complexes containing E(z) catalyze methylation of histone H3 on lysine 27 (H3K27) (and in some experimental contexts also H3K9), generating marks that correlate with Polycomb-bound regions and supporting stable gene silencing and appropriate cell fate control.
