ELF4 Antibody (MA5-27251) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded human thyroid tissue. To expose target proteins, heat-induced epitope retrieval by 1mM EDTA in 10mM Tris buffer (pH8.5) at 120°C for 3 min. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a ELF4 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-27251) at a dilution of 1:150.

ELF4 is transcriptional activator that binds to DNA sequences containing the consensus 5'-WGGA-3'. The protein acts synergistically with RUNX1 to transactivate the IL3 promoter. Also transactivates the PRF1 promoter in natural killer (NK) cells. This protein plays a role in the development and function of NK and NK T-cells and in innate immunity.
