Fen1 Antibody (A300-255A) in WB
Detection of human and mouse Fen1 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, and mouse NIH 3T3 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Fen1 antibody (Product # A300-255A) (lot A300-255A-3) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

FEN-1 (Flap Endonuclease and Five prime Exonuclease) is a 42 a protein that functions as an endonuclease that cleaves branched DNA structures containing single-stranded 5' flaps or as an exonuclease on DNA nicks and gaps. FEN-1 endonuclease and exonuclease activities are stimulated by an association with proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in the nucleus. FEN-1 is believed to have important roles in DNA replication and repair and is required in cell-free DNA replication systems.
