Flotillin 1 Antibody (PA5-28118) in WB
Western blot was performed using Anti- Flotillin 1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-28118) and a 47kDa band corresponding to Flotillin 1 was observed across all the cell lines and tissue lysates tested except THP1 which is reported negative for Flotillin 1 expression. An uncharacterized band was observed at ~35KDa in A549 sample. Target Information
Caveolae are small domains on the inner cell membrane involved in vesicular trafficking and signal transduction. FLOT1 encodes a caveolae-associated, integral membrane protein. The function of flotillin 1 has not been determined.
