GATA2 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Frozen) (IHC (F)) — Immunohistochemistry (Frozen) analysis of GATA2 was performed in frozen-sectioned rat E13.5 brain tissue using GATA2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-29736) at a dilution of 1:250 (Green). Blue: Fluoroshield with DAPI.

GATA2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot was performed using Anti-GATA2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-29736) and ~58kDa band corresponding to GATA2 was observed across cell lines tested except Daudi, U-937 and Jurkat which are reported to be negative. Whole cell extracts (40 µg lysate) of U-2 OS (Lane 1), SH-SY5Y (Lane 2), Daudi (Lane 3), U-937 (Lane 4) and Jurkat (Lane 5) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE® 4-12% Bis-Tris gel (Product # NP0322BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001).The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:500 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036, 1:4000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005)..

GATA2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of GATA2 in 293T whole cell and nuclear extracts (30 µg). Samples were incubated with GATA2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-29736) using a dilution of 1:1,000 followed by HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG. Separated by 10% SDS-PAGE.

GATA2 Antibody — Antibody specificity was demonstrated by detection of differential basal expression of the target across cell models tested owing to their inherent genetic constitution. Higher expression of GATA2 was observed in U-2 OS, SH-SY5Y in comparison to Daudi, U-937 and Jurkat using Anti-GATA2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-29736) in Western Blot. {RE}

GATA2 (GATA binding protein 2) belongs to the GATA family of transcription factors. GATA proteins play a very important role in signaling pathways controlling proliferation and differentiation of erythroid progenitor cells. There are 6 transcription factors in the GATA family: GATA1 to GATA6. GATA2 is a transcriptional activator regulating endothelin-1 gene expression in endothelial cells. It also appears to be involved in differentiation of other tissue types (uro-genital and nervous) during embryogenesis.
