GNB3 Antibody (PA5-143883) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of GNB3 in Hela cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were then incubated in GNB3 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-143883) using a dilution of 5 μg/mL. Heterotrimeric guanine nucleotide-binding proteins in this gene is associated with essential hypertension and obesity. This polymorphism is also associated with the occurrence of the splice variant GNB3-s, which appears to have increased activity. GNB3-s is an example of alternative splicing caused by a nucleotide change outside of the splice donor and acceptor sites. Additional splice variants may exist for this gene, but they have not been fully described.
