Detection of human HAUS7 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, and Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-HAUS7 antibody (Product # A305-557A) (lot A305-557A-1) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

This gene encodes a subunit of the augmin complex, which regulates centrosome and mitotic spindle integrity, and is necessary for the completion of cytokinesis. The encoded protein was identified by interaction with ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase 37. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
