HDAC6 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western Blot analysis of HDAC6. Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with HDAC6 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-53944) with a dilution of 1:20,000, followed by HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody with a dilution of 1:20,000. Image was developed using FeQTM ECL Substrate Kit.

HDAC6 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — Flow cytometry validation analysis of HDAC6 in wild-type (WT, Blue) and knockdown (KD, Green) HT1080 cells. Sample was incubated with HDAC6 monoclonal (Product # MA5-53944) antibody at a dilution of 1:2,000. Analysis was performed using a BD flow cytometer.

HDAC6 Antibody — Antibody specificity was demonstrated by siRNA mediated knockdown of target protein. HT-1080 cells were transfected with Histone deacetylase 6 shRNA and decrease in signal intensity was observed in Western Blotting using Anti-HDAC6 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (23GB6170) (Product # MA5-53944) at a dilution of 1:20,000. Secondary antibody used was a goat anti-rabbit (HRP) at a dilution of 1:20,000. {KD}

Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes. Plays a central role in microtubule-dependent cell motility via deacetylation of tubulin.
