HEATR2 Antibody (PA5-100553) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of HEATR2 in HepG2 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with HEATR2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100553) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

The protein encoded by this gene is essential for the preassembly or stability of axonemal dynein arms, and is found only in organisms with motile cilia and flagella. Mutations in this gene are associated with primary ciliary dyskinesia-18, a disorder characterized by abnormalities of motile cilia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
