Immunocytochemistry analysis of HIPK3 in HeLa cells. Samples were incubated with HIPK3 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-23171) using a dilution of 1:200 dilution overnight at 4°C followed by anti-rabbit Dylight 488 (Green) at a dilution of 1:500. Cells were fixed for 10 minutes using 10% formalin and then permeabilized for 5 minutes using 1X TBS + 0.5% Triton-X100. Target Information
HIPK3 is a serine/threonine kinase involved in signal transduction, cellular communication, and multidrug resistance of tumors and plays a role in the phosphorylation of FADD. HIPK3 negatively regulates apoptosis by promoting FADD phosphorylation. This kinase enhances androgen receptor-mediated transcription, and may act as a transcriptional corepressor for NK homeodomain transcription factors.
