Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.

HSP90 2 is a plant molecular chaperone that assists in folding, stabilization, and activation of a wide range of client proteins involved in signaling, stress responses, and development. It operates as part of dynamic complexes with co chaperones such as HSP70, Hop, p23, and immunophilins, using ATP driven conformational cycles to mature kinases, hormone receptors, and transcription factors. HSP90 2 helps maintain proteostasis under heat, drought, salinity, and oxidative stress, and modulates pathways including immune receptor function, hormone signaling for auxin and brassinosteroids, and growth regulation. Its expression increases during stress and in rapidly growing tissues, and genetic perturbation affects resilience, morphology, and signaling fidelity. By buffering proteome stability, HSP90 2 contributes to phenotypic robustness and adaptive capacity in plants.
