The HSV tag, derived from the herpes simplex virus (HSV), is a small epitope tag used in molecular biology and biochemistry research. The HSV tag is a short sequence of about 11 amino acids (QPELAPEDPED) and can be fused to either the N- or C-terminus of the target protein.
