IGSF8 Antibody (PA5-47450) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of IGSF8 in immersion fixed Neuro‚2A mouse neuroblastoma cell line. Samples were incubated in IGSF8 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47450) using a dilution of 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell surfaces.

In direct ELISAs, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IGSF8 is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IGSF4 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

This gene encodes a member the EWI subfamily of the immunoglobulin protein superfamily. Members of this family contain a single transmembrane domain, an EWI (Glu-Trp-Ile)-motif and a variable number of immunoglobulin domains. This protein interacts with the tetraspanins CD81 and CD9 and may regulate their role in certain cellular functions including cell migration and viral infection. The encoded protein may also function as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting the proliferation of certain cancers. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein.
