IL-2 Antibody (PA5-46915) in Neu
Neutralization of IL-2 in CTLL‚2 mouse cytotoxic T cell line. Samples were incubated in IL-2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-46915) using a dilution of 10 ng/mL. Recombinant Canine IL‚2 (Cys147Ser) stimulates proliferation in the CTLL‚2 mouse cytotoxic T cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Proliferation elicited by Recombinant Canine IL‚2 (Cys147Ser) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Canine IL‚2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody. The ND50 is typically 0.25-1.5 µg/mL.

In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.2% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-2, recombinant mouse IL-2, recombinant rat IL-2, recombinant feline IL-2, recombinant cotton rat IL-2, recombinant bovine IL-2, recombinant equine IL-2, and recombinant porcine IL-2 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.

Interleukin 2 (IL-2) is an immuno-modulatory cytokine that is important for the proliferation of activated T cells, differentiation of B cells, natural killer cells, monocytes and macrophages. IL-2 signals through the IL-2 receptor (IL-2R), a heterotrimeric protein complex whose gamma chain is also shared by interleukin 4 (IL-4) and interleukin 7 (IL-7). The expression of the IL-2 gene in mature thymocytes is monoallelic, which represents an unusual regulatory mode for controlling the precise expression of a single gene. The targeted disruption of a gene similar to IL-2 in mice leads to an ulcerative colitis-like disease that suggests an essential role of this gene in the immune response to antigenic stimuli.
