IL17B Antibody (PA5-95491) in WB
Western blot analysis of IL17B in Lane 1: mouse NIH3T3 cell lysate. Electrophoresis was performed with 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel (70V, Stacking gel; 90V Resolving gel, Time: 2-3 hours), transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane and blocked using 5% Non-fat Milk/TBS (1.5 hrs at room temperature). Samples were incubated with IL17B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-95491) using a 0.5 µg/mL dilution, followed by a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP at a dilution of 1:10,000, and developed with enhanced chemiluminescence (ECL).

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: mouse NIH3T3 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

The protein encoded by this gene is a T cell-derived cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine was reported to stimulate the release of TNF alpha (TNF) and IL1 beta (IL1B) from a monocytic cell line. Immunohistochemical analysis of several nerve tissues indicated that this cytokine is primarily localized to neuronal cell bodies.
