KIRREL Antibody (PA5-89723) in WB
Western blot analysis of KIRREL in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with KIRREL Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-89723) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

KIRREL (NEPH1) is a member of the nephrin-like protein family, which includes NEPH2 and NEPH3. The cytoplasmic domains of these proteins interact with the C terminus of podocin (NPHS2), and the genes are expressed in kidney podocytes, cells involved in ensuring size- and charge-selective ultrafiltration. NEPH1 is a member of the nephrin-like protein family, which includes NEPH2.
