KRTAP10-8 (Keratin Associated Protein 10-8) is a member of the keratin-associated protein family that contributes to the structural matrix of hair fibers. These proteins interact with keratin intermediate filaments through cysteine-rich domains to strengthen and stabilize hair shafts. KRTAP10-8 is primarily expressed in hair follicles and is involved in hair formation and structural integrity.
