Kallikrein 5 Antibody (PA5-90088) in WB
Western blot analysis of Kallikrein 5 in extracts of A-431 cells. Samples were incubated with Kallikrein 5 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-90088) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases and are implicated in carcinogenesis. A novel KLK gene, KLK12, is expressed in a variety of tissues including salivary gland, stomach, uterus, lung, thymus, prostate, colon, brain, thyroid, and trachea. It has applications as a novel cancer biomarker.
