Immunocytochemistry analysis of XRCC6 using anti-XRCC6 antibody (Product # PA5-95033) . XRCC6 was detected in a section of A549 cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and then incubated with 5μg/mL rabbit anti-XRCC6 antibody (Product # PA5-95033) overnight at 4°C. Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.

Positive Control - WB: human 293T whole cell, human SiHa whole cell, human A431 whole cell, human HepG2 whole cell, human CACO-2 whole cell, human Hela whole cell, human U2OS whole cell, human RT4 whole cell. IHC: Human Placenta tissue. ICC/IF: A549 cell, Hela cell. Flow: MCF-7 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

XRCC6 is a nuclear complex consisting of two subunits with molecular masses of approximately 70 and 80 kDa. The complex functions as a single-stranded DNA-dependent ATP-dependent helicase. The complex may be involved in the repair of nonhomologous DNA ends such as that required for double-strand break repair, transposition, and V(D)J recombination. High levels of autoantibodies to p70 and p80 have been found in some patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.
