LSS Antibody (PA5-115524) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of LSS in mouse liver tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with LSS polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115524) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the conversion of (S)-2, 3 oxidosqualene to lanosterol. The encoded protein is a member of the terpene cyclase/mutase family and catalyzes the first step in the biosynthesis of cholesterol, steroid hormones, and vitamin D. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
