LXR beta Antibody (MA569714) in WB
Western blot analysis of LXR beta in wild type (WT) and LXR beta/NER HeLa cells. Samples were probed with LXR beta recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA569714) at 1:13,000 dilution incubated overnight at 4°C. Secondary antibody: HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10,000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.

The liver X receptors, LXRA and LXRB, form a subfamily of the nuclear receptor superfamily and are key regulators of macrophage function, controlling transcriptional programs involved in lipid homeostasis and inflammation. The inducible LXRA is highly expressed in liver, adrenal gland, intestine, adipose tissue, macrophages, lung, and kidney, whereas LXRB is ubiquitously expressed. Ligand-activated LXRs form obligate heterodimers with retinoid X receptors and regulate expression of target genes containing LXR response elements.
