MARK3 Antibody (A302-187A) in IP
Detection of human MARK3 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MARK3 antibody (Product # A302-187A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. MARK3 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-MARK3 antibody A302-186A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated MARK3, A302-186A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

MARK3 is a member of a group of kinases known to regulate cell polarity via phosphorylation of microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs). The protein encoded by MARK3 is activated by phosphorylation and in turn is involved in the phosphorylation of tau proteins MAP2 and MAP4. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for MARK3.
