MEPE Antibody (PA5-47817) in WB
Western blot analysis of MEPE in ST‚2 mouse bone marrow-derived stromal cell line and mouse embryo tissue. Samples were incubated in MEPE polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47817) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG secondary antibody. Specific bands were detected for MEPE/OF45 at approximately 58 and 42 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

Matrix extracellular phosphoglycoprotein (MEPE), also known as osteoblast/osteocyte factor 45 (OF45), is a member of the small integrin-binding ligand N-linked glycoprotein (SIBLING) family. MEPE promotes renal phosphate excretion and modulates mineralization. It can be phosphorylated by secreted protein kinases. MEPE is expressed in osteoblasts, osteocytes and odontoblasts, and the expression has also been reported in numerous human tumor cell lines. It is a 525-amino acid protein with a calculated molecular weight of 58 kDa.
