MTMR2 Antibody (A304-535A) in WB
Detection of human and mouse MTMR2 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, Jurkat, mouse TCMK-1, and mouse NIH 3T3 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MTMR2 antibody (Product # A304-535A) (lot A304-535A-1) used for WB at 0.4 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

This gene is a member of the myotubularin family. The encoded protein possesses phosphatase activity towards phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate and phosphatidylinositol-3,5-bisphosphate. Mutations in this gene are a cause of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4B, an autosomal recessive demyelinating neuropathy. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
