Mature Macrophage Marker Antibody (12-0660-82) in Flow
Staining of rat thioglycolate-induced peritoneal exudate cells (PECs) with 0.25 µg of Mouse IgG2a kappa Isotype Control PE (Product # 12-4724-81) (open histogram) and 0.25 µg of Anti-Rat Macrophage Marker PE (filled histogram). Total viable cells were used for analysis.

Description: The HIS36 monoclonal antibody reacts with a molecule expressed on the surface of rat macrophages. The antigen recognized by HIS36 is an ED2-like antigen expressed by thioglycolate-elicited peritoneal cells and tissue macrophages. This antibody is used as a marker for rat tissue macrophages.
Applications Reported: The HIS36 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: The HIS36 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of rat spleen and peritoneal cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
