MA5-17560 targets Myeloid Lineage in FACS, IHC (F), and WB applications and shows reactivity with Rat samples.
The MA5-17560 immunogen is anemic rat bone marrow.
The myeloid lineage encompasses a diverse range of hematopoietic cells derived from the common myeloid progenitor (CMP) in the bone marrow. These cells include granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils), monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, erythrocytes, megakaryocytes, and mast cells. Myeloid cells play pivotal roles in innate immunity, inflammation, and tissue homeostasis. The differentiation and functional states of myeloid cells are regulated by various growth factors and cytokines, revealing significant heterogeneity within tissues. Dysregulation or aberrant differentiation of myeloid cells can contribute to pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and cancer, emphasizing the clinical importance of understanding myeloid cell biology.
