Western Blot analysis of NACA2 using the NACA2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-116377) at a 1:2000 dilution. Human skeletal muscle lysates were loaded at 20 µg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at 1:10,000 dilution. Predicted band size: 23 kDa. Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.

Prevents inappropriate targeting of non-secretory polypeptides to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Binds to nascent polypeptide chains as they emerge from the ribosome and blocks their interaction with the signal recognition particle (SRP), which normally targets nascent secretory peptides to the ER.
